How to extract students' email from Smart V3

We extract their email addresses from their grades.

UMS Smart V3 Grade export menu

Export as Excel spreadsheet. Delete all columns except First name and Email address. Save as .csv format.

Export it to Google contacts using our UMS account.

Import contacts to Google contacts

Select the .csv file with the names and adresses.

Google contacts will create a group of contacts with the LABEL imported_contacts and the date. Just rename the LABEL to help you remember and easy for Google Mail to recall. For example 1ks22402. I put 1 so that it is right at the top of the list of labels.
